The Good for Eforcity High Speed HDMI Cable:

This cable does perform well in our tests. There was no loss in bits and bytes between devices. No distortions of any kind noticed on our Samsung LCD TV or in our Sony 7.1 surround system. This cable did very well carrying the 10 Gbps it promises to carry. Overall we were impressed with its performance.

The Bad for Eforcity High Speed HDMI Cable:

This cable is the cheapest cable we have tested so far at a price of $2.49 for 10 ft. and hence many customers don’t believe that it will perform as stated by the company so no one wants to buy it. That is the only negative observation that we have regarding this cable.

The reviews for this cable are good but some not so. Overall it’s a 4 star cable with over 500 reviews.

One reviewer says: “10 months later, still working! Great buy!” another says “Don’t Waste Your Money On Monster Cables!!!” and I have had this for over a Year – Excellent for 1080P. Others have given it 1 star for example: “Colour artifacts EVERYWHERE. Image quality sub-par.”

Conclusion is that we would let you be the judge of this cable, because at our lab this item performed flawlessly and still continues. We did not disconnect this cable on a regular basis either and it did perform also for the Xbox 360 and other demanding consoles in the market. The packaging was flimsy but don’t judge a cable by its cover is our advice. Also there is a warning in regards to California residents.
