Monster Cable Ultimate High-Speed HDMI 1000 HDX – THX Certified Review
Monster Cable Ultimate High-Speed HDMI 1000 HDX – THX Certified is a very high quality cable. Monster makes their cables from many thinner strands of copper which in return can carry more bits per seconds than other HDMI cables. This cable is rated to carry up to 17.8 Gbps as stated on the package, so if you plan to have a 3D signal and stereo sound with 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound this is the cable for you.

Positive Reviews for Monster Cable Ultimate High-Speed HDMI 1000 HDX:
These cables would be a great buy if you are planning on running cables inside your walls, as lets say from the 1st floor of the house to the basement or 2nd floor.
Monster cables are the type of cables you don’t replace in 5 years because they went bad, unless newer technology demands it of course.
They are THX certified and can transmit up to 17 Gbps.
If you are losing sound from devices to the TV or picture is flickering loosing picture completely then most likely it’s your HDMI cable not keeping up with the data transfer rate needed to display correctly. You need these cables from Monster!
Monster does a monster job of any demand you can put this cable through. We ran the XBox360, PS3, Wii, Blu-ray in normal mode and in 3D, Netflix, HULU, and APPLE-TV. It all went through flawlessly with no loss of bits. When you connect these cables to your devices they will auto adjust to the best quality picture that the cable can hold and these cables can run 1440p resolution easily.
This cable will carry ethernet to devices that will be ethernet ready through HDMI in 2012.

These cables are too expensive for the job at hand.
They are Monster Expensive! Monster cables are over priced.
Yes they are rated to carry almost 20 Gbps but you never pump that much information from any device in your home theater setup anyway.
It is all 1′s and 0′s. Don’t buy from Monster Cable if you don’t want to be ripped off.
